Topographic Map

This map was part of the Topographic exercise dealing with contour lines and elevation.

My professor provided us with the layers from his very own study in Wyoming. This map just consisted of a Digital Elevation Model which gave us the elevation for the contour lines after converting the measurements to feet using the field calculator in ArcGIS. The other layer was just the gray squares consisting of my professor's study areas in that region.

The contour lines were set at 20 ft intervals with labeled lines every 100 ft. The labeling was done in Adobe Illustrator.
